Delete your account
Write to info@xekta.com from the email address on the account and say you want it deleted. That is the whole request — you do not need a form or a reason. There is no delete button in the XEKTA account site or in any agent today; email is the way to do it, for shops and buyers alike.
We reply to confirm before anything is removed, so an email sent by mistake does not delete anything.
If you run a shop
Deleting removes your catalogue, your shop's opening hours and settings, any Telegram, WhatsApp or till connection, saved carts, API keys, the Stripe connection link and your login. Buyers can no longer find your shop.
Your Stripe account is yours. It is not ours to delete — keep it or close it with Stripe directly.
Open orders come first. We cannot delete a shop that still has an order waiting: hand over or cancel them first. Deleting mid-order would leave a buyer holding an authorisation with nobody to collect from.
If you shop through XEKTA
We do it by hand, following a written procedure, and complete it within 30 days. We remove your name, email address, phone number and saved collection address, the email address saved with your cart approvals and the masked address an approval was sent to; close your sign-in so it cannot reopen the account; delete the notification, error and feedback records about you and your carts that never became orders, with their approval records; remove the IP address and browser details from the record of which documents you accepted; and delete your Stripe customer record with the cards saved on it.
What we keep, and why
Records of completed orders stay. Tax rules and card-network rules require it, and we cannot answer a chargeback about an order we have erased. For a shop, those records keep the business name as it was at the time and are no longer linked to the deleted account; the owner's name, email address and phone number are removed from the account, and the record of which documents they accepted and when stays, without the IP address or browser details. For a buyer, they keep what was bought, when and from which shop, that you approved it, and which documents you had accepted, without your name, email address or phone number. The copies of a buyer's card that were made on shops' Stripe accounts for past orders are part of those shops' payment records and stay there.
Everything else goes.
